Icy Pole #1 ~
Ingredients: ½ - 1 cup of almond milk, 1 banana, 1 table spoon of peanut butter
Directions: Blend all ingredients, put mixture in icy pole mould, slide in stick, freeze for 4-6 hours.
Icy Pole #2 ~
Ingredients: 1 cup of spinach, 1/2 cucumber, ½ a banana, ½ cup of frozen mango or berries, sprinkle of chia seeds
Directions: Blend all ingredients, put mixture in icy pole mould, slide in stick, freeze for 4-6 hours.
Icy Pole #3 ~
Ingredients: ½ cup of frozen strawberries, 1 frozen banana, 1/2 – 1 cup of almond milk, 1 teaspoon of honey
Directions: Blend all ingredients, put mixture in icy pole mould, slide in stick, freeze for 4-6 hours.
Icy Pole #4 ~
Ingredients: 1 cup of Greek or plain yoghurt, 2 tablespoons of pure maple syrup, ½ a punnet of fresh or frozen raspberries (or berries of your choice)
Directions: Stir all ingredients, put mixture in icy pole mould, slide in stick, freeze for 4-6 hours. (Credit to We Might Be Tiny)
Icy Pole #5 ~
Ingredients: 1 mango (peeled & diced), juice of ½ a lime, 4 heaped tablespoons of coconut cream
Directions: Blend all ingredients, put mixture in icy pole mould, slide in stick, freeze for 4-6 hours. (Credit to We Might Be Tiny)
Icy Pole #6 ~ Adults Only
Ingredients: 1 + ¼ cup tequila, 1 cup triple sec, ¾ cup freshly squeezed lime juice, coarse salt
Directions: Prepare the tequila and triple sec by bringing the tequila and triple sec (separately) to boil over a high heat for 2 minutes. Immediately remove from heat and pour in to a bowl. Combine the tequila, triple sec and lime juice. Divide equally among moulds, leaving a small amount of space for expansion. Sprinkle a very small amount of coarse salt in to each icy pole. Freeze for 24 hours.
